Terms of Service

Effective date: September 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DataOps, an AI analytics platform that turns questions into live dashboards, charts, and reports (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using the Service

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use DataOps. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that happens under your account, including within any workspace or team you belong to.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for managing who has access to a workspace and what permissions they hold.

3. Connected data sources

DataOps lets you connect data sources — such as a Postgres database, a Google Sheet, or an uploaded file — so the agent can query and analyze them. By connecting a data source, you represent that you have the right to share that data with DataOps and to authorize the agent to query, process, and generate outputs from it. You're responsible for the data you connect and for revoking access when it's no longer needed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DataOps to:

  • Access, upload, or connect data you don't have the right to use or share.
  • Attempt to bypass sandboxing, rate limits, or other technical safeguards, or use the code-execution environment for purposes unrelated to analyzing your own connected data.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or to violate any applicable law or third party's rights.
  • Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or interfere with other users' workspaces.

5. AI-generated content

DataOps uses AI models to interpret your requests and generate queries, code, charts, summaries, and reports. AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You're responsible for reviewing and validating any analysis before relying on it for decisions, and DataOps makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

6. Your content and our license

You retain ownership of the data you connect and the content you create in DataOps (dashboards, reports, queries). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service for you and your workspace. We don't claim ownership of your data or your generated dashboards.

7. Our intellectual property

The DataOps platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by DataOps and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, Google for sign-in and Sheets access, database providers you connect, and infrastructure and email providers we rely on to operate DataOps). Your use of those integrations may also be subject to the third party's own terms, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions.

9. Fees

Some features of DataOps may be offered on a paid or usage basis. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using DataOps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service, with notice where reasonably practicable.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataOps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold DataOps harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your connected data, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by updating the effective date above or through other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
